Finally, a holder heavy enough that my cat can't knock it over — the brass base is substantial. The stick sits at the perfect angle too, no dripping ash on my table.

Finally found a holder that doesn't tip over when the stick gets heavy—the base is surprisingly wide and weighted, so it stays planted. The matte ceramic finish also wipes clean easily after a few spills.

I was skeptical about this holder’s unusual shape, but the way it catches the smoke and lets it trail out slowly is actually mesmerizing. The ceramic feels surprisingly heavy and smooth, and it makes my usual cones last a few minutes longer.

I wasn't sure about the open design at first, but the ash actually falls neatly into the tray instead of scattering everywhere. The ceramic feels substantial and the subtle matte finish looks great on my desk. Only wish the slot were a tiny bit deeper for thicker sticks.

The carved grooves really hold the stick steady as it burns, which is a nice change from my usual setup. Only wish the finish was a bit more matte, but it still looks good on my shelf.
